Here we honestly share our experience of 10 years, to remove doubts and the myths about this treatment.
Basically, we started long-term hair removal because we wanted to help our guests whose skin can’t stand waxing and is prone to irritation and ingrown hairs.
We don’t want to persuade anyone by force… But we see that it works like magic… The people who we recommend it to as an option because of skin condition it changes their life for the better and are very grateful for the result, beautiful skin and self-confidence.
Does it work?
In a normal case YES! It lasts for years or even for life!
In case of certain genetics and hormonal issues it won’t last so long. More info below!
Is it long term? In a normal case YES, many times lasts for a lifetime!
It happens that it never grows back permanently, but it happens that in intimate areas or in places that we use more, for example the knees, a few strands return due to the more intensive blood circulation. In this case, after 1-2 years, we treat a few strands once or twice a year.
What does it feel like, for example, after intimate IPL?

How harmful is it?
Basically, light of a given wavelength hits your skin, which is absorbed by the hair which burns and falls out after 10-14 days.
The light damages the skin’s connective tissue and so it stimulates its regeneration, it starts producing collagen and rejuvenates itself. Many rejuvenating cosmetic treatments are similarly invasive to stimulate the skin to regenerate.
Your skin will be fresher, more glowing.
How painful is it?
It hurts about as much as a tattoo. The stronger the hair, the stronger the pain, but in this case we reduce the intensity.
The head of the machine also cools at the same time, so it hurts as little as possible, and we use gel on then skin, which dissipates the heat, so you don’t have to worry.
Your skin won’t burn even at higher intensity, because we use a very professional high end machine.
What should I expect for an intimate hair removal series?
It is important to shave 2 days before and do this carefully, especially in the perineum and anus area (squatting is easier)
because it hurts more and is less effective with longer hair.
The hair is thick for the first few sessions, it hurts a little more, then the latter sessions the pain gets milder…
One treatment takes about 10 minutes.
We treat it every 4-6 weeks, but it happens that the hair grows much more slowly. We normally finish in 1 year or less. After 3-4 sessions, the hair is drastically less and thinner.
IMPORTANT: Do not skip treatments out of convenience and do not let the hair grow back too much, if you are determined, come regularly, otherwise the process will be slower.
What is the difference between laser, IPL and e.g. between the
diode laser?
Only a doctor can work with a laser.
IPL works at 70% of laser intensity, is less painful, less invasive, less damaging to the skin and cheaper.
The effect of the diode laser is approx. similar to IPL.
How many sessions are required per BODY PARTS?
LADIES
MUSTACHE, CHIN, SIDEBURNS, FACE – 3-4 times every 3 weeks – since the hair here is mostly in the anagen phase, so it is active. For stronger chin and mustache hair due to age and hormonal reasons, the result is not permanent. It is recommended to repeat the treatment at regular intervals, every few months.
ARMPIT, INTIMATE – generally 12 sessions/1 year. Those who react more to it may have less sessions. With intense, strong hair, the Mediterranean type, or with very dark labias and perineum, all this takes more time;
ARMS, LEGS – usually determined by the strength of the hair. 4-6-8 sessions. It takes more for thick hair, if someone has shaved a lot.
BELLY STRIPE – 4-6 times, depending on the strength of the hair
BACK, FRONT, BOTTOMS – for hormonal and genetic reasons, it may or may not work for strong hair – everyone should decide for themselves whether to try it or not
GENTLEMEN
Basically, we are talking about stronger body hair than women, so it takes more time. For gents with normal strong hair it works very well.
High testosterone levels result in intense, rich, strong hair, in which case the treatment series will not be very long-lasting, as the hormones stimulate hair growth. Here, it must be taken into account that if someone really undertakes this, they will have to repeat the treatment regularly from time to time.
FRONT, BACK– 6-9 times- depends on the thickness and density of the hair;
INTIMATE, ARMPIT – 12 sessions/ 1 year – the same applies as for ladies. Since the skin in the scrotal area is darker and there is less contrast, it is more slowly there. When treating the intimate area, the testicles are avoided;
LEGS, ARMS– 6-9 times- depends on the thickness and density of the hair;
NECK, CHEEK, EYEBROWS – 6-9 times – depends on the thickness and density of the hair. Since the hair appearing on the upper part of the cheeks indicates intensive hair growth, it is possible that it should be treated regularly every few months;

*Many people think that long-term hair removal does not work and that the hair grows back. According to our experience, it doesn’t work because of two things: one is random treatment with an inappropriate, cheap machine in a salon, and the other is that our hair growth is genetically and/or hormonally intense, so the body grows hair vigorously because of this.
*With the Arab and Mediterranean type, it sometimes reacts very well, sometimes it doesn’t, this becomes clear after a few treatments.
*A very important factor is that those who do not go regularly, do not keep the appointments, and also shave a lot between treatments, the result will not be the same. The hair, especially strong hairs are constantly weakened, which should not be stimulated by shaving.
*We recommend IPL as an alternative to our guests who want to get rid of hair once and for all, have skin prone to hair growth and folliculitis, and have a hard time with waxing. Our guests are always very grateful for this, because problematic skin can cause a lot of trouble and discomfort and can affect self-confidence.

IPL, laser
operating principle
AT THE END OF THE TREATMENT SERIES, THE THICK, RICH HAIR DISAPPEARS, IN IT’S PLACE THIN, INVISIBLE ‘BABY HAIR’ REMAINS.
The IPL laser works only on hairs in the anagen (active growth phase) phase. The proportion of hairs in this phase on different parts of the body is different. Therefore, the treatments must be repeated at certain intervals, which are usually 4-6 weeks.
The pigments of the hairs absorb the light of a specific wavelength emitted by the laser, which turns into heat and is conducted into the hair follicle, where the matrix cell dies as a result, the hair falls off and approx. it will fall out in 2 weeks. The matrix cell is responsible for the continuous growth of the hair. As a result of hair removal, only baby hair (lanugo) grows in place of the hair.
Unfortunately, IPL does not work for light blonde and gray hair, as there is too little pigment to absorb the light.
Hair growth

*Anagen phase: the matrix cell is active, in this phase the hair grows continuously. This is when IPL is effective.
*Catagen stage: hair growth stops, the hair follicle begins to atrophy, the bulb begins to separate from the connective tissue, there is no continuous connection, this is the transitional phase. Then IPL is not effective.
*Telogen phase: the hair is expelled, the follicle goes into a resting/dormant state. Then IPL is not effective.

For a gentler treatment, the treatment head can be cooled to minimize pain.
The light coming out of the operating head is refracted by a sapphire crystal for uniform emission, thus preventing excessive burns and damage compared to machines with older technology. And the power of the emitted light does not fluctuate to extremes, but remains stable throughout the treatment. The reflector chamber is coated with 24K gold, which absorbs ultraviolet light rays so that they do not damage the skin.

Preparations, shaving before treatment
About 2 days before treatment, it is necessary to shave the given area, since hair length of 1-2 mm is required. If you can’t reach a certain area, we can also trim it.
Unfortunately, only shaving is allowed in the 3-4 weeks before treatment. If possible, shave until the hair falls out (if it bothers you), then only before the treatment, so you minimally stimulate the thickening of the hair. A few tips to make shaving as gentle and efficient as possible:
*soften the skin with warm water beforehand
*apply the shaving foam thoroughly to the area
*disinfect the razor with alcohol beforehand
*carefully pull the razor according to the direction of the grain
*repeated softening with warm water, then the shaving foam comes again
*now carefully shave against the direction of the grain, then wash
*then disinfection, moisturizing with cream and that’s it
In the weeks before, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or use a high factor sun protection cream. It is important that those who regularly expose their skin to the sun take a break from it for a few weeks.
The use of drugs that cause photosensitivity in the previous 4 weeks is prohibited, e.g. Aspirin, pain relievers such as Aleve, Advil, etc. antibiotics, just to mention the more common ones. Read the patient information leaflet to see if the given medicine causes photosensitivity.
Moles: moles cannot be treated with IPL
People who receive medical acne treatment cannot participate in treatment.
Post-treatment care
*Do not expose the treated surface to sunlight or use a high factor (30) sunscreen
*After treatment, you can use an aloe vera skin-soothing, cooling product – damage and redness are not typical, the area may be more sensitive for 1 day;
*After treatment, hot water should be avoided, the skin should be gently cleaned with lukewarm water and properly hydrated;
